Use a Computer

Public computers are located on the upper and lower levels of the library and are accessible to all library cardholders. Computers can be used for one hour at a time, no extensions allowed. Computer guest passes are available to any Summit County visitors.

All public computers are internet accessible and equipped with a headphone jack, CD/DVD drives, USB and Memory Card ports, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher).

All computer and wireless internet users are subject to our Computer Use Policy.

For Purchase Items

For your convenience, the following items are available for purchase at the checkout desk:

  • 16GB Flash Memory Drives - $10
  • DVD-R (re-writable discs) - $1
  • Headphone earbuds - $2

Children’s Computers

We have six AWE Early Literacy Stations located in the lower level children’s area. These internet-restricted computers are preloaded with educational games and activities especially designed for children ages two to eight.

Wireless Internet Access

Free wi-fi access is available both inside and outside of the library. No password is required to join the network.

Printing

Color/black-and-white laser printers are located on the upper and lower levels of the library and can be accessed from all general use computers. After you send a file to one of the printers, log into the corresponding print release station to pay for and print your files.

Cost

  • 10¢ per page for black and white prints
  • 50¢ per page for color prints
